We've listened to your feedback! If you had the app open while driving, you might have been bothered by Flitsmeister notifications. We've fixed that. The menu has gotten a fresh coat of paint and we've fixed a few bugs. So update away!

Hey FM’er! From now on we support autozoom when you are using navigation. With this we can warn you in time if you have to take an exit. This should save you some last minute lane-zipping, so useful! : - )
During the morning rush hour on the A4, you'll see a notification diverting you to the parallel lane instead of the main lane. That allows us to test whether it helps disperse traffic, which ultimately leads to fewer traffic jams! And Europe is still packed with Flitsmeister users on holiday! Behind the scenes, we've been working hard on the new app, Truckmeister. Yes, you guessed it: an app specifically for truck drivers! We've also been working on Flitsmeister TWO. Flitsmeister TWO didn't always start up for some users, and that's been fixed with this update. Update today!
In this update, we fixed a bug in Android Auto that made it hard to scroll when searching for your destination. We also fixed some minor bugs in the Flitsmeister TWO and we're working on some amazing new developments, like displaying the maximum speed on the screen. Bam!
The Flitsmeister TWO is now available! HURRAY! With the TWO, the app will always start automatically and you'll see alerts on the screen. You can also see the speed limit so you won't drive too fast past a speed camera. Time for a new update! We've fixed a few bugs in the app and when navigating to Amsterdam, we now display low-emission zones on the route overview. Please let us know what you think! Put your foot down, but not where you can’t and aren’t allowed to. Like in school zones. Since the school year has started, we will alert you in a number of school zones in the Netherlands to mind your speed. Nice and safe! Apart from taking your foot off the gas around these areas, we do love picking up some speed where we can. Just like Max Verstappen. Turn on Flitsmeister and check the new alerts voiced by your favourite Formula 1 commentator. Who will get a speed cam reported on the circuit?

BAM! Yet another update! You can now rate average speed checks by tapping here. This will help us keep our traffic information up to date at all times. Emergency vehicle notifications have been added to Android Car, so you no longer have to miss out on this useful information. Finally, we fixed several annoying bugs. Update away!

Make your friends’ lives easier with Flitsmeister! To this day, a lot of drivers are getting unnecessary speed tickets. This is unfortunate, but we’ve got the solution. Do you know anyone who is still racking up speed tickets and isn’t usingour app yet? Invite them with your friend code (located in your profile in the app) and you’ll both earn a gift. We are working on new features continuously to make the app even more complete. But it goes without saying that speed cams are still as important to us as they were when we had just started. Our speed cam alert has been improved. Some users weren’t always receiving the alerts in time. This is now a thing of the past. In addition, we’ve solved a couple of bugs to give you a great Flitsmeister experience ;-)
We've said some strong words to the app after it crashed and showed the wrong speeds in France. It promised to behave better next time. Lastly we’ve got some mysterious news... soon a much-requested feature comes to Flitsmeister... keep an eye on our social media.

We solved a crash that used to occur when Samsung devices were using a font that was too large. In addition, the 0-100 sprint is being properly measured once again. And last but not least: some design improvements and minor bugs solved!
Left lane, full speed ahead! The new soundpack by Brabo, a.k.a. Steven Brunswijk, is now available in the app. The stand-up comedian from North Brabant will voice all your navigation instructions and alerts. From now on, you’ll be driving with a smile on your face Go to our website or purchase the soundpack in the app!
Unfortunately, people still end up on the wrong side of the road sometimes. It might even happen to you. We have now added alerts for approaching wrong-waydrivers and wrong-waydriving. Safety first! We also implemented some major improvements to the connectivity of the Flitsmeister ONE, making loss of connection a thing of the past.
Last but not least: we have reached 1.8 million active monthly users!!! BOOM!
Did you know you can pay for your parking sessions with Flitsmeister? You can start a session after your ride really easy, and when you drive off you get a notification to stop your session. Create an account in the app menu today! As for our Belgian users: From now on you can pay in-app for your parking sessions in Belgium as well!
We had a bug with the automatic closing feature, it didn’t work as we intended. We addressed it firmly and made sure it's working again.
Hitting the road by car, motorbike or truck? You can now select your vehicle in the settings menu. This feature helps us take into account the 80 km/h speed limit for truck drivers. Crossing a border? Consult our clear overview to see all the relevant speed limits. The in-app menu has been revamped and a bunch of minor bugs has been resolved. Sweet!

We've worked hard on another awesome update. In short: you'll receive lane guidance when navigating and the 'next instruction' is also visible whenever it's relevant. We've also improved the 'No internet' alert which sometimes appeared even though there was an active internet connection.

The new year has started off with a blast! We still had some small issues with the Flitsmeister ONE autostart that were hard to find, but those issues should be fixed now. The current and maximum speed also disappeared when getting a warning on the dashboard. We fixed that as well. Awesome!

This update fixes duplicate reports in the For you-tab. We also updated the maximum speeds on the A28, A1 and A50 to 120 km/h instead of 130.
Bugs fixed, used the left lane, overtook a slow car and now it’s time to play Mario.

Naturally, we’ve taken feedback regarding parking with our app very seriously. Fixes in this update ensured that the keyboard no longer remains open after leaving the screen, and unsafe areas in France have been pinned down to exact locations (which is now permitted). Handy! PS: Did you know the average driver honks their horn 15,250 times in their life?

You will now receive alerts for level crossings. Sadly, it is not rare for something to go wrong and these alerts are there to help you keep on the lookout. Want to plan your route to your appointment here and now? It’s easy with the calendar link. Nice one! And just in case the sound indicating an approaching ambulance made you jump: we have made the noise a bit more friendly. This message can only contain 500 characters, so update the app to see what else we’ve improved.

The weather pop-up and speech-to-text destination search work properly again, thanks to Gino and Ruben! The other Flitsmeisters have not been sitting still and are working on cool features that will soon be available. Follow us on social media to be notified of these features when they’re available.
Are you experiencing problems with the sound? Locating the problem was tough, and Ruben worked long and hard on tracking it down (poor Ruben). But the “Force telephone speaker’’ and the HSP Bluetooth profile have now been fixed. Additionally, the eight-member Android team has resolved bugs and is working again on the “Forgot password” button. Be on the lookout in the weeks ahead, because there are lots of different Christmas items hidden in the app!
You can now start a route faster and enter it via speech. Super handy when your hands are frozen from scraping your windscreen or when you are simply too lazy to type. In cold weather, you get a pop-up with a ‘’Risk of slipperiness’’ notification so that you are extra careful when you go out on the road. Shoutout to Bram (who treats support with love too<3) and Gino (who has a beard). They have ensured you will give our app 5 stars thanks to these awesome features… right?!

You just enjoyed a lovely bit of shopping, you walk back to the car, but you forgot where you parked. Sound familiar? The men in our office admitted it doesn’t only happen to women. When you park your car, a pin automatically appears at that location and you can easily find your ride again. You won’t arrive too late at your mother-in-law, or get home to feed your cat late. Super handy! You can also mute reports of roadworks and poor road surfaces on your current route.
This update includes a new, sexy hamburger menu that is almost guaranteed to make you feel hungry! From now on, you will have a clear overview of your routes as well as the option to select them with or without navigation instructions. You can contact ANWB roadside assistance via our app when needed. After all, we all break down at times. We have also performed several fixes. For example, ambulance alerts and automatic start-up have been upgraded in the app.
Do you also sometimes experience the problem that you receive daily notifications about the same road works? Now we have a solution to this. Our new star Bart has created a “mute icon” so you can turn the road work notifications at that location off. You can also adjust or turn the road work notification sounds off. An applause for Bart!
Yeah! FM is Android Pie-proof thanks to Tom! No, not cake. We’re talking about the new version of Android. We also have good news for those that found it really annoying that automatic start-up no longer worked: Tom has fixed that, too. Now he really does deserve cake, doesn’t he? ;) Some other fixes have also been made for navigation and turning off notifications of poor road conditions, which is now working again.
Big news: after this update, you will see information in our app from matrix signs above the road. You will be warned of lane closings, you will be informed of the maximum speed the signs display, and we will show the right maximum speed if the rush-hour lane is open. Awesome! Even with this warm weather, we have also ensured that you can navigate to parking spaces when you have nearly reached your destination.
Android 8.0. That means an update full of cool new things! A number of bug fixes have also been implemented, such as the statistics in your profile and a fix of the social media blocker. The new notification type, “Bridge open”, has been added and we have made several fixes for when you enter a foreign country. Are you going on holiday soon? As of now, you can use a social media blocker that blocks communication from the apps on your mobile during the trip. Extra step to safety! We have also fixed an error so that you no longer receive an alert informing you that you are outside the Netherlands when you are driving near the border. Right, now that’s out of the way, we can get back to programming! ;-)

The statistics for your account will now be synchronised, meaning your statistics will be saved when logging out and logging back in. After this update, when you drive using navigation, you will see that the turn arrows have a new design. The icons that were loaded incorrectly have been modified and are back in the game. Notifications for bad and slick road surface now once again work as intended. We will no longer notify you of speed cameras on parallel roads when you are driving on the motorway. When you drive into a tunnel during an average speed check, you will no longer see the average speed, but rather a tunnel icon. We do this because we cannot measure your exact speed in a tunnel. So don’t panic, we didn’t abandon you!
Today, we have a really amazing update for you. Flitsmeister 7.0! We completely redesigned the map and warning screens. That way, it’s easier to keep track of everything if you use the map view while driving.We also added our most requested feature: voice-guided navigation (YES!). This is still in the BETA phase of development, which is why we’d love to get your feedback. We are very curious about your experiences and opinion, so please let us know via our support page or via the app.
Do you sometimes find yourself stuck in traffic, while you had hoped to already be at home? Starting now, you can share your route/travel time with others.This way your darling knows exactly when the pizza needs to go into the oven. If you have an active route, on the route screen, you can press ‘Share my location’.
Want to quickly check what’s happening in your area before you leave? That’s now very easy with the notifications tab (the left-most tab). We have also removed fog as a notification option, the tabs in the notification overview have been given a different colour and the split screen has been improved. Road closures will now be shown in the route summary with a separate icon and an extra notification so that you can take into account the diversions. Bring on the holidays, Ho-Ho-Ho and away we go!
Occasionally, notifications used to flash on the dashboard. We solved that problem. Along with some other performance improvements, it all runs smoothly again. Do you want to turn off notifications for stationary vehicles or roadworks? That is now also possible. Sometimes, you could not select your own image as an emoji. We fixed it! If you are following a route in the app and you make a quick stop (e.g. at a petrol station), the app now resumes the route itself when you start driving again.
Often requested and now available: an overlay of our app if you have another app running in the foreground. We have also ensured that FM can turn on when you move. Do you no longer want to be warned about permanent speed cameras or speed checks if you are not driving faster than the speed limit? Now you can have that! Moreover, we have resolved bugs such as the flashing of traffic jams on the dashboard and the speed limits not being displayed if you do not have a GPS signal.
Our dashboard notifications have been improved. They would sometimes remain on the screen for ages, but they no longer do. The speed checks on the A12 (Utrecht) and A2 (Maastricht) were also far from practical. That’s all fixed now : ) And when reporting something to us, you no longer need to confirm. This happens automatically. Easy!Something wrong with your phone’s GPS connection? You now receive immediate notifications. We have also reduced the app’s data consumption significantly again.
